AND last week we told you about Doug Marr, the electrical contractor who with his mate, army veteran Stuart Wilson, is planning a centenary motorbioke run from London to Gallipoli in 2015 to raise $1 million for Legacy.

John Waller, of Boronia Travel, the battlefield tour specialist that's helping Doug with the arrangements, reports things have moved on apace since our item appeared.

Four Melbourne electricians have offered to help with the rewiring of the Kum Hotel in Gallipoli, where the centenary riders will park their bikes in the camping ground, while a motorbike helmet maker - from Texas- has offered to supply all the helmets for free.
