Boronia Travel Centre is a family owned business that has become Australia’s leading battlefield tour provider.

For nearly 30 years, Boronia Travel Centre have specialised in battlefield tours to Gallipoli, the Western Front and Tobruk. These tours are the most informative and in depth tours available, and are specifically designed by the Australian War Memorial historians and curators. They are both a commemorative and educational journey into an important part of our nation’s history, and for some, a personal pilgrimage.

Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 global crisis and the enforced international travel restrictions, all of our battlefield tours are currently suspended.

We are constantly reviewing all border restrictions and can only hope that the proposed bubbles will be extended to include as many countries as possible in the near future. Due to situation once again, escalating throughout Europe and the United States, we feel it is extremely unlikely that any travel to these destinations will be possible prior to mid-late 2022 and Australians will commemorate Anzac Day at home for another year.

Therefore for now, we are working towards releasing our battlefield tours to Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam departing in 2022.

In February 2022, Australians will commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Fall of Singapore, mainly remembered for the long and terrible period of imprisonment that followed the surrender, rather than for the efforts to halt the Japanese advance through southern Malaya, our tour will honour and commemorate this significant period in Australia’s history.
